I individually manage the marketing of Western Australia’s largest motocross event body, Dirt High Promotions.

Joining forces in late 2023 in preparation for the relaunch of their marquee event, the Manjimup 15,000, I composed a marketing campaign that lead to the largest crowd turnout for the event in the race’s 40 year history.

Digital Marketing Coordinator

Social Media Coordination

I launched the social media accounts of Dirt High Promotions on Tik Tok and Instagram from scratch.

Within six months, Dirt High Promotions had earned over 4,000 natural followers on Instagram from 650,000 reel views, without any spend on advertising, as well as an additional 24,000 video likes on Tik Tok.

I also relaunched Facebook pages for each of the race events, the Manjimup 15,000 and Brookton Pony Express. Creating ad campaigns into the lead up to these events, the pages grew a combined total of 3,400 followers by June 2024.

The feedback on the social media accounts from riders, sponsors and supporters was overwhelmingly positive and I have been signed on to continue work going into the 2025 motocross season.

Graphic Design

I designed the official 2024 Manjimup 15,000 Programme, a 72 page magazine available at the event. Over the course of a week, I created all relevant advertisements from sponsors and wrote feature pieces that I then laid out in a visually appealing and readable design.

The front page design was also printed as the the Manjimup 15,000 event poster (featured). I went for a design that was both suitable for print advertisements as well as a wall poster that supporters could get signed by their favourite riders.

This magazine included the logos for the event. I designed the official logo for the inaugural Fox Four Cross event, as well as the VIP MacTrack riders lounge logo. These logos were to be displayed on signs that were pinned up across the event that I also put together.

Communications Officer

Alongside my marketing responsibilities, I was tasked with managing the coverage of the event’s in the press.

In this role I wrote official press releases, communicated with local television networks and videographers, designed advertisements for print, interviewed riders and significant figures at the event as well I wrote articles for publishing in the local newspapers.

Touching on my experience as a journalist, I have been able to get ten articles published in and around the races covering the action in relevant papers and television networks.
